Storm Gets New GM

The wait wasn't long as the Storm get themselves a new GM!

Please welcome Shaun Young to the VHA! Shaun joins us with over 5 years FHL experience so there isn't much doubt he'll do great things with the Storm.

Storm Seek New GM

This may not be a surprise at all but, our first GM to succumb to the reinstated rule of "10 line file fines and you're gone" is the GM that caused the rules reinstatement.

Although Donovan did a good job at bringing the Storm from the bottom of the league to a Dyer Cup Champion, the last couple of seasons saw sporadic participation at best.

A new GM should be named shortly.

Ice Bears Hire New GM

The Ice Bears have finally found themselves a new GM!

Please welcome Ricky Simonson to the league!! Ricky is new to the world of FHL which is pretty common here in the VHA. Regardless, Ricky is friends with Jon of the Cotton Kings so Ricky will have plenty of help settling in.

Some Site Additions

I've added a few things to the site that I hope some of you will find useful.

First up is one that isn't exactly new but is back again. That is the Online GM Editor. The program is now hosted here at the VHA site so it will be up as long as the VHA site is up. You can access this through a link in the Main Menu or at http://gmeditor.vhahockey.net

Once you set and save your lines, they will be automatically copied to the location where lines would be normally uploaded. They can also be set and than downloaded and uploaded. Either way, you can now make changes to your lineup if you happen to be away from home.

Your user name will be the same as your username here on the main site and a temp password will be PM'ed to you. Once you log in, please change it to whatever you want.

Secondly is a site for use on mobile devices. You can reach it at http://m.vhahockey.net. As of right now, you can only view the latest games and what games will be played next. Not much but I'll try to add more stuff to it. Let me know what you'd like to see.

Lastly, I think I've got the old version of CareerStats working again. I haven't seen anything wrong (yet) and I have re-included this back into the History page. Let me know if it's still gibbled.

Ice Bears Looking For New GM

Well, Micheal as disappeared. I've been patiently waiting to see if he'd return but after almost a month I think I'll move on. I am now trying to get another GM for the Ice Bears.
